Achieve flawless, vibrant and beautiful colours for your wedding cakes with Colour Mill's Bridal oil-based food colour set. Colour Mill oil blends allow the colour to disperse through every part of a fat-rich medium, including sugar, eggs and butter. This is because all water-based materials have been removed and replaced with baking and cake friendly oils; these oils mix far better than water-based gels (which we know repel water from the oils in your baking).

Unlike conventional gel colours, Colour Mill Oil Blend loves the fats and oils found in your baking, and uses them to disperse the special colour formula. This results in stunningly vibrant, rich and consistent shades that won't fade. It works especially well in buttercream, Swiss meringue, chocolate, cake batter, ganache, and sugar paste. It also works in flower pastes, gumpastes, modelling pastes, marzipan, cake mixes, pastries, icing, isomalt, piping gel, cake lace mixes and more.

Not only will your cakes look amazing, but with Colour Mill, you'll also get more colour for your money. Its high concentration means you use much less than you would normally to achieve even brighter and more vibrant results. You only need a tiny drop at a time to achieve your desired shade - we recommend using the end of a cocktail stick.

If you use more drops, the colour will intensify, while using fewer drops will create softer shades. Slowly build up the colour as you mix your batter to achieve your desired hue.

The bottle comes with a dispensing lid for greater accuracy. Colour Mill can be diluted with alcohol to create an edible paint. Please note that due to the oil content, colours may take longer to dry.
